I know a Ferrari owner. Money doesn’t stand in his way. Hey Custom ordered the Lexus from the factory and waited six months for it and paid full price. He owned a beautiful Ferrari and then he got the Corvette, I asked him how he decides which one to drive, the Ferrari or the new Corvette? He said I sold the Ferrari. The Corvette is a much better vehicle. He meant it!!

Well gee..... I am really impressed by the detail and unbiased (sort of) scrutiny and criticality professed by Paul and Todd who share the enthusiasm these [3] classic Japanese sports cars can still generate even 25 years later ! --- Being an uncompromising stickler for detail within the details I can fully appreciate the carefully edited and visually crisp venue (Rocky Mountains ?) these videos were shot and the full range of aesthetic and mechanical catagories which were judged. As a 12 year second-owner of a Commemorative Edition (assembly-line stock) Z32 s/n 258/300 (Cobalt Green on Beige Leather) I am obviously biased in their choice but really thought the Supra, with all it's engineering accolades (with help from Yamaha) would come out the hands-down all around winner. Personally I took over two years searching most everywhere (car ads, auctions, BaT, car clubs, car shows) all over in North America until I found my 'baby' with less than 7200 original one-owner miles sitting in another enthusiasts car collection. The *only*, and I mean O N L Y way after months of back-and-forth negotiation I was allowed to purchase was my written promise to never mechanically alter the cars stock configuration - which I had no intention of ever doing in the first place so that caviat was not an issue for me to aquire this pristine sports car. It currently sits with a Covercraft fitted cover in my climate-controlled garage only driven about once a month (never on wet roads - ever) on East Tennnessee's mountain roads it was desgned for to keep the mechanical aspects and seals well lubricated. As of 6/17/24 there has been no seepage of any seals @ 24k, the paint still has it's showroom glow and the Leather is soft and supple with thrice-annual conditioner applied. Insured by what Hagerty found its' valuation to be at 45k I probably wont part with it for a few more years - it's just so much fun to run through the gears !

i thought your take on the 124 spider was interesting. l have owned mine for 7 years , there is no way l would say the suspension is terrible. Perhaps American delivered car have a different set up?

I took care of my Quattroporte. There came a point where parts weren’t available anymore and they won’t service my transmission. They keep yelling “it’s lifetime fluid”

With that 928 you should have bought a nicer one to begin with that cars worth maybe 15-20k could have gotten a nice later s4 model for 40k with much nicer paint

Only thing missing from the acura is flat bottom steering wheel, nicer seats and sunroof

C8 looks almost a supercar, has a European feel to the design. C7 is just a new age American muscle car

Congrats. If I may suggest, I would bubble wrap the OEM seats and get my favorite pair of racing buckets (I like Racetech). I would also install a quality coilover. Nitron from UK are Lotus specialists and come with many solutions to suit every taste. Nothing you cannot reverse. But above all I would drive it. Just enjoy it. You have a new subscriber.

Boys, in case you see this, thanks for this video. I’ve seen scores of your shows and enjoyed each of them. Your “product” is unique and high quality. I could relate to this one with more than hopes and dreams. My best friend of 50+ yrs lives in the Bay Area, I live in Seattle. He has a 981 Base Boxster, I have a 981 Boxster S. Each January we pick one of several ways to drive together to Bandon Oregon for a gathering of a special group of men and women. There we play all but one of the courses together in a Ryder Cup format. Our favorite route is up Hwy 1 and then 101. We’ve always had sunny weather in the high 50’s, which is enough to get the top down. I fly down ahead of the trip and we take my friend’s car. We can pack two sets of clubs and luggage for winter sports and dining without a rack. If you don’t know Bandon Dunes it’s the only golf resort with more than one 18 hole course in the Top 100 - - and it has four plus an award winning Par 3. Watching the replicas got me thinking of a new variation on the trip. Thanks, again.

If only it didn’t have the bore scoring & IMS issues, cheap interior that fades and falls apart & liquid pumps that fail every 20k. Btw the 2.7 has none of that so maybe a better option

I’m considering one of these to replace our NX200t. Larger storage capacity and (incredibly) better MPG. I had a BMW 530e which was great - similar range for battery only and with a 26 mi commute to work (recharging at the office) I was getting about 64.4 MPG. In the BMW, the transition between the all electric and turbo 4 cylinder was seamless. Your review covered so many points that are on my mind - really appreciated it!

I was considering these. Older, used ones. The Porsche scared me off with repair and maintenance costs. The brz/gr I felt wouldn't be enough power. I went with a 370z. No regrets. I love driving it. I'm sure I would be happy with any of them but I feel that the reliability and manageable repair bills of the nissan engine will give me a little peace of mind. Great video

Made a 7 hour drive in 3 and half in my rs. Perfect time of day/night. Dont think i went under 115. I managed to get it up to 168mph and still had 1500 rpms in reserve in 6th. Honestly dodnt feel like i was going over 60. Rode smooth as hell. Unfortunately had to sell it as times got tough, plus i had to drive 75+ miles a day commute for work... and with a 12 gal tank that takes premium, it was costing me more to get tk work than what i was actually making haha. If i ever get the opportunity to get another rs, I would in a heart beat.

As a 2019 SS 1LE owner, best car ive ever owned and looking forward to more memories with this car. Even though it has the potential to be a collectable, i bought this car to have fun and not sell it.

For me corvette is best..why ? 1- price 2- feels like you are driving supersport car.. 3- cheap to fix But if i have 150k i would prefer aston martin vantage v8.. Why not porsche ? 1 - expensive overpriced tag 2- expensive to fix 3- hard do operate engine fix 4- expensive parts Why not lotus ? 1- overpriced 2- very small for tall guy

supra is the same platform as a Z4 m40i not an m2. big difference.
